I grew up in a Christian home and went to church every time the doors were open. I knew a lot about God, but I did not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. All of that changed when I was a freshman in Bible College. On March 17th, 2009 I accepted Jesus as the only way to be saved from my sin. Shortly after, I was baptized in obedience to my Lord. In May of 2012, I graduated from Ambassador Baptist College with a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies & Missions.

God allowed many difficult circumstances into my life which strengthened my walk with Him. Through my time in the RU Ladies School of Discipleship, with God’s help, I was able to overcome many of the struggles and disappointments from my past. God showed me that He can take something broken and put together the shattered pieces! I’m so thankful God rescued me and gave me a new life.

God has given me an indescribable love and burden to reach children with the Gospel message. During a visit to the Island of Grenada, God burdened my heart. There were so many young people trying to follow in the footsteps of the people around them, but in need of someone to teach them about the abundant Christian life. Many of them have no understanding of the true giver of love and life. Many will live and die, having a form of godliness, but no true relationship with God.While in Grenada for a visit, I was privileged to lead several children to a saving knowledge of Christ. I found such joy in teaching the elementary children and a youth girls’ Sunday School class. As I observed the culture and went soul winning throughout the local villages, God gave me a deeper insight into both the physical and spiritual needs of the people there. There is so much work to be done in Grenada and such a desperate need for people willing to go, serve, and give to the work. As for me, God has planted my heart in Grenada!
